Summary
There’s a man standing at the lights directly opposite him, his hands shoved deep into the pockets of a faded pair of jeans, utterly motionless.
Soap has his camera in his hand before he’s even had time to think. Through the viewfinder, he focuses on the tilted head, the gleaming walnut-brown skin and the slightly parted lips. The man’s wearing a plain pink shirt that glows in the golden morning light and gives his cheeks a bronze sheen. His hair is cropped close and tightly curled, and he’s standing there among all those people, right in the middle, as if he were a statue rather than a man.
Soap presses the shutter.

Gaz only wants to get home when a photographer stops him and takes his picture without asking.
What begins as an intrusion turns into curiosity. Gaz is enduring a brutal London summer, working double shifts to keep his family afloat. John “Soap” MacTavish is trapped in a creative drought. Neither has room for the mutual attraction growing between them.
(Un)fortunately, their desire doesn't respect sensible priorities.
