    Listen. Shane knew it was dumb to feel anything like jealousy over this stupid game. It was a stupid game when it didn't involve Ilya, and it was even stupider when it did. He should tune them out and leave them to it, like he always did.  

    But nobody was having sex with Ilya but him. Nobody else was even thinking about it. 

    Or - The Montreal Metros like to play Would You Rather. For some reason, sex with Ilya comes up a lot.

    “What is it?” he asks lazily. He watches her with one cautious eye, the other still indolently squeezed shut. Wei Wuxian is lounging on a stone, toying with the long green sprouts from the garlic patch. Actually, he is exhausted; he has been playing his flute to pull in game every day, as well as healing Wen Ning and maintaining the protections that keep them all safe. And he has not been eating nearly enough. He still bent over with everyone else to pull the long, cylindrical turnips from the ground, though. He didn’t tell them how it made his head swim. Now he is lying on a rock, and he does not intend to move anytime soon, no matter how grim Wen Qing looks.

    This is the expression she wears when there’s been bad news, and now she has to do something she’d rather not do. "...Is there a plague?" he guesses. A plague would mean a lot of work for her, wouldn’t it? "Or! Did Wen Ning get himself stuck in the chicken coop again?” Another, more disgusting possibility occurs to him, gross enough to have him perking up hopefully, propping himself on one elbow wedged against the stone. “Or maybe you have a really big, infected zit on your back and you need me to pop it?!"

    She glares.  

    She says, "I want babies."

    Finally, something dawns on him, a way to handle two goals simultaneously. He’d seen Hollander’s mother flipping through papers rapidly when they first got here, seeming calm and in control and more than a little frightening in a way that made Ilya mildly glad he wasn’t one of the people responsible for a clipboard. If anyone can tell him if the long list of “Prohibited Items” he’d been sent in his email a few days ago is just standard practice for big shoots, it would be Yuna Hollander.

    Or, hopefully, her son.

    “Crazy we cannot even have peanut butter, eh?” He asks. “You also got giant list?”

    Hollander stiffens, almost imperceptibly, and Ilya tilts his head, just slightly, confused, wondering if he’s stumbled somewhere unexpected.

    (how ilya learns about shane's allergies) (and shane's sexual awakening tragically hits a speedbump in the process 😔)

    Time loops are just a fact of life to Wyatt, insane as that sounds. He’ll happily settle in for a repeat day every couple of weeks. Chances are he’ll wake up tomorrow morning and go to regularly scheduled practice. A teammate probably pissed off their wife, which is an easily fixed problem.
