Summary
For the first time after a decade of miscommunication and spectacularly bad timing, Belly and Conrad are finally choosing each other with their whole chests - no running, no exit clause, no pretending. It should feel like a happy ending. Instead it feels like a beginning - equal parts exciting and terrifying. Because now that they’ve solved what they always thought was their biggest problem - admitting how they actually feel about each other - they have to face real life: the years of unresolved hurt and misunderstandings, the very real mental health struggles that don’t disappear just because you’re deliriously happy, and the logistics of a life split across two continents.
OR: my take on how Belly & Conrad’s relationship plays out post-finale. Expect fluff, smut, angst, the conversations that I hope they have, Jeremy bashing, the works.

Summary
He is incapable of pulling away, incapable of not kissing her.
The train is moving. Not just moving, flying, really—Amtrak Northeast Regional this is not—and it is quickly becoming clear that the engineer of this railroad did not design it with romance in mind. Because sometime during minute six or seven or ten of kissing Belly, it begins to feel like an extreme sport. When they round a particularly sharp bend, Conrad has to steady himself on a seat back with one arm so that he can use the other to hold Belly upright and continue to kiss her like the world is ending.
Honestly, he feels like it actually is, in some ways. Or maybe it ended five years ago and this is some post-apocalyptic fantasy. Either way, it all feels so terrifyingly good and new that Conrad is not about to tempt fate by letting her go.
*****
A series of canon-compliant vignettes about a post-E11 Belly and Conrad. While each chapter can be read on its own, there is a cohesive storyline from one to the next. That storyline is mostly that they love each other a lot (and have sex a lot).

Summary
“Do you remember when I told you that I dream about you?” Conrad asks.
“Conrad, I think I'd forget my own name before I forget that,” she answers without a single teasing edge in her tone, just honesty.
“I don't know if I'm allowed to admit this, if it'll sound too dark but… in the many countless dreams I had about you over the years there were some days, especially nights, where I dreamt of you,” he looks her deep in the eyes, “just like this.”
“Just like this?” She asks, her voice low as she suddenly starts to feel out of breath.
“Well, not exactly, but yeah,” he blinks. “Close,” he admits, his tone coming out raspy, going straight to her center.
Belly sits up straight in his lap, looking down at him, her lips curling up. “What was different in your dreams? Can you elaborate?”
Or: Back in Paris, right before their anniversary, Conrad feels inspired to tell Belly more about his dreams (thanks to her outfit for the night).
