Summary
Buck always spends Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day with Maddie, much to Eddie and Chris’s frustrated disappointment. They understand, of course, that Buck wants to be with his family at Christmas.
This year, though, Eddie finds it harder than ever, as he’s also coming to terms with the fact he’s in love with his best friend. And Chris? Christopher just wants to spend Christmas with his two dads. Together.
When a last minute decision to see Buck reveals he’s not where he should be, Eddie needs to work out the truth about how Buck spends his Christmases.
And maybe that will lead to the sharing of other truths as well.

Summary
“Whoa, buddy!” The man with all his working limbs says, bending down in front of Christopher, putting himself between the toddler and the road. “Roads are no fun for babies.”
And Eddie, as stated, already cannot breathe. When he does try to breathe, he’s sucking in burning flames. So it takes a minute to register that the nice man who just saved his baby’s life is - - fuck. Of course. Of course, it’s his hot new neighbor.
Or, Eddie is injured. He also has a toddler. His next door neighbor keeps them alive.

Summary
On the morning of December 1st, Buck walked into the firehouse to find a large, handmade advent calendar hanging on his locker.
It was crafted from thick red felt, stitched with gold thread, and each pocket was numbered in bold, glittery font. A note was pinned to the top:
“For Buck. Because Christmas should feel like love, not loneliness. —E & C”
Buck stared at it for a long time. His throat tightened. Tears welled in his eyes that he didn‘t let fall.
He heard someone walk into the locker room behind him and instantly knew that it was Eddie.
Buck turned around and looked into Eddie’s soft brown eyes, the man smiling at him.
„Open it,“ he simply said and closed the space between them.
OR
to show Buck how special this time of the year really is Eddie and Chris team up and make Buck an advent calendar.
