Her cousin ignored her, instead motioning for them to hide behind a particularly large bust. “Every year on this night, it’s rumored that a ghost walks these halls in search of their lover,” he continued, “It’s said that he’s stuck in a time loop. He cannot cross over to the other side.”

He won't forget the nights where Howard screamed in his face about how he would never be as great as Captain America. As fucking Steve Rogers.
He wouldn't forget how he loved Steve anyway. He would admire his posters and photographs of the Captain anyways.
He wouldn’t forget how his heart beat a little faster around the blonde.
Tony wouldn’t forget the pistol he had strapped to his bar table.
And worst of all, Tony wouldn’t forget that fucking nightmare.

Steve should have expected something like this. After Billy’s Camaro had broken down for perhaps the 5th time in as many months, he’d finally convinced his fiancé that they needed a reliable car, with the caveat that Billy could be the one to go out and pick it. He’d envisioned something steady, something similar to the Beemer that he’d had in high school, or even a minivan. They had been talking about having kids soon after all.
The car currently parked in their garage was anything but that.
