Pencil was truly alone. Book had left her, Ice Cube had left her, Ruby and Bubble hadn't talked to her in years. And Match... she wasn't as much of a "friend" as she was in season one.
When the two best friends reunite, things are bound to go wrong. Words are yelled. Tears are shed. Friendships are broken. When Pencil is truly alone and everyone she knows hates her, what is she supposed to do?
Donut has always checked up on Pencil. He always knew something was up with her, but she hadn't spilled it yet. Maybe this time he could help her. Actually help her.
Since Pen had that talk with Pencil, he's been more observant with her. The way she talks, the way she acts, it just doesn't feel right to Pen. Maybe he can help someone that dealt with the same emptiness he had. Being alone.
