Summary
It would be almost surprising, how swiftly Arthur betrays Merlin, if not for the fact that it is entirely in character for the prince to do whatever he can to torture the sorcerer at any given opportunity, "apologies, Prince Claudin," Arthur says, a devilish smile spreading across his face that causes Merlin to gulp, audibly, "my manservant here was just offering his professional services while you are visiting." Merlin almost drops the scrolls he is almost entirely convinced Arthur made him carry just to be a nuisance.
