She doesn’t seem like she expects anything, just that she likes hanging out with them, and it feels right. Having Hailey here through dinner is good, it feels like a puzzle piece he doesn’t remember losing being found and clicking perfectly into place. Whatever happens here, he wants to keep this safe person for Charlotte. She deserves it.
