Summary
Dennis swallows hard and tries to summon as much venom in his voice that he can. His words come out flat anyways. “Why are you here?”
Robby jabs a thumb over his shoulder. “...Santos invited me?” He says it like the answer should be obvious. Dennis grits his teeth.
“I know that. But why did you actually show up?”
The attending hangs his head and he drops his hand to rub at his neck. “I don't know.” Slowly, he begins to shake his head. “To make amends?”
