The Great Spirits of the Universe watched as the Avatar Cycle was threatened thanks to Sozin's greed. If Raava didn't choose a new soul to merge with, then the world would be plunged into darkness forever. After all, a single human soul could not shoulder the burden of balance. They needed allies, kindred souls who could handle Raava's power. So when the Great Spirit of Light came to Gyatso, he decided to run away with a handful of elders and children before being encased in ice, sealing them in a bubble of energy for safety.
A hundred years later, deep within the Fire Nation, Zuko, his uncle Iroh, and his younger sister Azula are banished from their homeland. Haunted by Ozai and the scar his own father branded him with, Zuko is determined to find the Avatar, not for capture and glory, but to tear down the tyrant's destructive regime. Little does he know that Raava's power had left Aang years before.

Summary
Zuko's date seems to think his 'old friend Katara' landing in Ba Sing Se is fate and not the terrible inconvenience she is. She believes this so much she thinks Katara should be his date, not her.
In which Jin gets the feeling there's more to Lee than she first thought, this Katara girl seems willing to help her find out just what his whole deal is and Zuko just wants Katara to do something for herself for once. If that's gonna be him - then so be it.
There might be no war in this city, but that doesn't mean there isn't a whole lot of stupidity. Oh and Appa's missing. That's happening too.
