Summary
After his return from Deraa, Lawrence decides to confront his trauma by exposing himself to his fears.

His whole body jerked where he lay as if hit by yet another lash. He would see Ali upon reaching Azrak, and although he planned on leaving to meet Allenby as soon as possible, they would still have time together. Time, they could spend however they wanted, and if Lawrence hadn’t misread the situation completely, Ali would be more than amenable to his advances.
He would proposition him, Lawrence decided; resolve settling in his stomach along with fluttering nerves. Ali would help him confront his demons and sweep away the debris cluttering his soul; his integrity could never be rebuilt, but he might be able to forget it had ever existed.

Summary
Lawrence is all too happy to spend the morning in bed with Feisal.
“Good morning, Feisal.” Lawrence turned onto his side as well, relishing in the luxury of staying in bed past Fajr. Usually, their day began with Feisal getting up for the morning prayer. Today, though, he had returned to bed afterwards, and while Lawrence felt a small pang at having missed the chance to watch his lover pray in the early sunlight, he couldn't help but feel delighted to have his husband to himself for at least another couple of hours.

Summary
Lawrence agrees to teach Ali, and learns a lot in the progress.
His hand trembled when he lowered it onto the dark curls he had fantasised about for so long. They were just as springy as he had imagined them to be, and although the days in the desert had robbed them of their natural fluffiness, it didn't diminish the experience. In fact, the hint of oil and sand made it even more real.

Lawrence sets out to teach the men how to climb a telegraph pole, but it nearly costs him everything when the endeavor doesn't go as planned.
He made it about a foot when he lost his grip. A yell got stuck in his throat as Lawrence slipped down the pole. All his attempts to regain his hold only accelerated his descent, and he squeezed his eyes shut, bracing himself for the painful impact.

Firing a torpedo while at wrap would be as unadvisable as throwing a spear at a sehlat that was carrying someone – it would only end in death and devastation.
