“…holy shit.”
And he leans in.
...not with his hands, but with his mouth. He drops to his knees on the worn hallway carpet, the movement so fluid and silent it barely makes a sound. Branzy lets out a sharp, surprised inhale, his body going tense for a second before relaxing into the wall with a soft thud.
Clown doesn't give him time to process. He presses his face against the small of Branzy's back, his mask a cool, smooth barrier against warm, flushed skin. He can feel the texture of the ink, the slight ridge of it, the heat radiating from Branzy's body. He smells soap and sweat and that maddening cologne, and it's all he can do not to groan.
He frantically slides his mask up, exposing his mouth and nose.
He mouths at the tattoo, tracing the bold black lines with the seam of his lips, a wet, open-kissed reverence. His hands come up to grip Branzy's hips, holding him steady, thumbs pressing into the hollows of his bones.
"Clown," Branzy breathes, his voice shaky. "What—"

Alone in the Garden of Life, the sky wanders with the petals blooming down from the tree. The sun beams with the bathing sensation, letting the chimera flop lazily on the thin grass, soft like a mattress. But why is the sun hiding under the dark, branches shade under his body while it was meant for the sun to shine bright for others. It’s as if the candle lit off, glooming in the dark after it had shunned for a very long time. Has he always been this pathetic for losing a battle that hasn’t even begun? Phainon could always try to win Mydei’s heart, learn a thing or two about Hephaestion’s relationship, or even ask if they were meant for each other?
He’d rather burn to ashes.

In short, Phainon learned that Mydei mourns deeply for Hephaestion, claiming that he once fell for him. Now that they reunite, Phainon had no chance to win Mydei and chose to spiral in his own demise. But the Kremnoan Detachment boys took interest instead, and probably cheer him up?

Summary
Branzy decides to set up traps around the casino to deal with guests who won't listen to words, and to protect himself when Clown isn't around. He tells Clown to not come by in the meantime, which greatly backfires on him as Clown misunderstands what he means and comes by anyway, much to Branzy's panic.
Somehow, this leads to Clown helping Branzy with the traps, and Branzy learns that Clown maybe likes physical touch more than he thought. A lot more, in fact.
