Summary
The first thing Shadow Milk could sense was wind on his face. A light breeze that mussed his white bangs. Then warmth came to him, not the warmth of a bed, but the warmth of the sun. The kind of energy it'd only produce on a Summer's day. His eyes were shut, but the light shining through them made everything a warm orange.
Shadow Milk was slow to open his eyes, and was met with the sight of a deep blue sky and giant clouds stretched far higher into the atmosphere than what should be possible. They were moved along by strong winds. Shadow Milk’s body felt heavy on the floor, the feeling of being so grounded and still was completely unusual. Heat seeped into his attire, the ruffles on his neck near stifling. The breeze was making the sun's consistent heat just short of bearable.

With a hurried choking noise, the headmaster turned his head and spat out his drink.
