Summary
It was around midnight in 12 Grimmauld Place, the hidden home of one Harry Potter, the savior of the wizarding world, the Boy-Who-Lived. He was proud to say that the dangers in his life had already passed and that he could finally be ‘just Harry’. He wasn’t quite wrong.
The pain began when the clock showed that it was no longer the day before, but that it was then july 31th, the day Harry Potter was born eighteen years before.

He didn’t know how long it had been. He tried to distract himself by staring up at the hole in the roof that had been left by his father when he departed.
Silver little stars freckled the sky. His mother used to call them little windows into heaven. Mark knew that’s not what they really were. But, from where he sat, for a second he hoped his mom was right, he hoped someone, some god, the god, would peek through one of his little windows and realize something wasn’t right on Earth.
Maybe if god were real he could fix it, in some world, some other universe. But in this one stars were nothing but violent explosions, ripping themselves apart and reforming, balls of gas. Many stars in the sky weren’t even that. Just late messages, a ghost of things that once were, a peak into the past.
He kept his eyes fixed on the sky, trying to look at anything but the massacre in front of him.

“I will take part in negotiations with your Coalition, and aside from that, you will not hear from me and my people again.”
“What’s the catch, Thragg. “
“Your son, the half human one, shows great promise.” He shot a sideways glance at Mark. It made him feel like he was being pinned to the ground.
“For all my benevolence, I demand your omegan son as my mate.”
Thragg looked back to Nolan, who’d become as pale as a sheet.
“I will give you time to think about my gracious offer. If the answer is negative, I shall end you all today and then move on to Earth."
In a blink, he was once again far from the group. All Viltrumites started retreating back to their planet with a shake of Thragg’s head.
“You have until Viltrum's sun sets. Do not be tardy. “
