It had honestly been a coincidence when finding Izuku. Kirishima had been on his way to work, locking the door behind him, looking down to see a black mound on Katsuki's outdoor bed when Katsuki decided to 'brave the harsh and deadly wilderness' and go outside.
(The bed has never been used.)
Kirishima didn't pay any mind to the shaking, tiny lump in Katsuki's outside bed before taking a second look, seeing bright, teary green eyes look up into his soul.
BAM. Critical hit to his animal-lover heart.

Summary
Katsuki, a boy with severe panic attacks, has a service dog. Izuku. Or Deku, as he calls him. Well trained, sweet, and protective of Katsuki, this wolf-hybrid and Katsuki tackle the largest problem ever. High school. Bitchy teens, hormones in every corner, depression, assholes, and so much more. Can this pair get through three years of hell in the hero school U.A. unscathed? The answer to that is no.
A hard no.
-----------Izuku, a normal wolf-dog. Izuku isn't a force to be messed with. A loyal, stubborn fellow he is. And loved by all. Literally. Even the upperclassmen love him. Of course, they don't touch him on duty but always look at him and try to pet him when he's off duty. Deku loves Katsuki and would make sure he's okay no matter what.
