Summary
After recovering from childhood illness, his mother had taken her spirituality far more seriously, instructing Shen Yuan in the proper ways to honor his ancestors and avoid the ire of angry ghosts which he'd held up to this day. That strange childhood dream of a creature granting him a wish seems far more real.
In which Luo Binghe is an old river ghost tricked into granting the dying wish of a small child, then trapped for decades. Upon his escape, he's determined to seek revenge, but is left with a horrid realization. Turns out promising Shen Yuan he wouldn't harm him in the process had longer lasting effects. Luo Binghe can't harm him at all.
Now trapped at a stalemate with Luo Binghe determined to find a way to ruin Shen Yuan's life, and Shen Yuan desperate to survive, the two are forced to come to some sort of agreement. And, just maybe, fall in love along the way.

The new Demon Emperor who just so happens to be Shen-shidi's apparently-not-dead Head Disciple.
Not only that, but there's something afoot in the Demon Realm. Shang Qinghua doesn't know how he knows this, but he's sure that no one should be able to stand against Luo Binghe's conquest. And yet...
This can be read as a standalone - I've added the necessary context in the notes at the beginning - but is a sequel to Yuánfèn 缘分, where Cang Qiong Disciple Shen Yuan discovers that the Qing Jing head disciple looks identical to him. But they're not related... right? It is also a companion piece to The Earth in the Palm of His Hand.

"Shidi finally woke up; how do you feel? Any discomfort, any memory issues?" Yue Qingyuan's voice was warm, yet carried a sense of urgency with it that had a year ago been absent.
He shook his head and blindly moved to grab his fan, but stalled when his hand met, instead of the cool press of paper and wood, warm skin and silky hair.
He shot up, twisting around to properly face this person. He barely noticed Yue Qingyuan reaching out to support his still weak body, helping him sit up enough to lean on his propped up elbow. Though that person looked to have been asleep, he was quickly waking up.
When he met that person's eyes, he recognized him straight away. Shen Jiu, the Orginal Goods, the first person that this body ever belonged to. And though he had previously viciously imagined what he would do to that scum if he ever came face to face with him, all those plans were thrown out the window.
In which a year after his first, Shen Qingqiu falls prey to a second major Qi Deviation. There are now two Shen Qingqiu's walking around - Yue Qingyuan is pleased with this new development, Shen Jiu immediately gets very attached, and Shen Yuan does not mind all this as much as he probably should.
