Long after the fall of Eden, successful writer Yoon Jongwoo seems to have his life together: he has a published book that topped the charts within days of its publication date after the uproar of the Eden Residence Murders, and now is projected to be writing his sequel to his bestselling book “The Garden of Eden”. After being cleared for the counts of first degree murder - Yoon Jongwoo having spun the case in the direction of former dentist Seo Moon-Jo based on account of the dentist’s presumed death - it seems all of that is behind him.
Until one night, during one of Jongwoo’s book signings, when he overhears a group talking about having seen a mysterious man who resembles the main antagonist of Jongwoo’s book. A man who made people shiver in their reviews, the chilling smile reflecting in their mirrors as they flipped through the pages — the same smile that had roused butterflies in Jongwoo’s chasm of a mind, now hiding behind lock and key underneath the protection of his eyes.
