Yuga was too disoriented, too high from whatever had knocked him out, to notice how Garaki’s chest hasn’t risen since he hit the man’s head. He’s too busy gathering his things from the shelf they were placed on, too distracted getting dressed and being relieved that its only nine pm on Saturday, to realize that when he pushes pain medicine down the docs throat that his jaw is far too slack and how it just sits in the back of his mouth instead of the bodies regular reaction of gagging or swallowing when an object is blocking an airway. Yuga does not realize that his attempts to apologize with a note and disoriented message when calling the cops to pick up the doctor and bring him to jail are useless efforts to protect himself from Garaki’s reaction to his attack. Yuga does not realize that the doctor is dead.
AKA Yuga kills the doctor mid nomufication process and accidentally releases the nomus from their brainwashing, surely things will be fine? Hopefully kurogiri stops trying to tell on him to his teachers soon.
