Summary
When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

Summary
When Harry Potter's Hogwarts letter raises red flags for Severus Snape, he delivers the letter instead of letting Dumbledore handle it. Severus does not see a miniature James Potter when he encounters the scrawny child, drowning in clothes that don't fit and holding himself carefully away from his aunt like she might strike him at any moment. Severus is reminded only of himself.
Severus's choice to rescue Harry might damn him when Voldemort returns, or it might change everything.

Leon Kennedy, being a law freshman, has a pretty simple strategy for surviving university. Keep your head down, stick to the rules, and stay as far away from Chris Redfield as humanly as possible. According to the campus gossip, the mechanical engineering senior apparently is a playboy that’s just looking for another notch on his bedpost. Leon has zero intention of becoming the flavor of the week, but when Chris systematically dismantles every single excuse he throws at him, Leon ends up completely cornered.
The game plan is simple. Endure one loud, arrogant dinner, let the guy show off his flashy ride, and then drop a rejection so cold and thorough that Chris will finally leave him alone for good.
Too bad campus rumors are notoriously garbage, and Chris is absolutely nothing like the guy in the stories.
Or
Leon goes out on a date with the campus "playboy" expecting a disaster, only to realize Chris is just an incredibly earnest engineering nerd who is entirely, hopelessly in love.

“We have no intention of being unkind,” Mace Windu says, his deep voice cutting through the murmur of the Jedi Council chambers, silencing the debate. “It is understandable that Anakin’s circumstances are somewhat … unique.”
For a moment, Obi-Wan feels a flicker of relief, a fragile thread of hope that maybe, just maybe, they will understand.
“However, the upcoming operation could very well determine the entire course of the war.” Windu continues, tone heavy with gravity. “Tell me, Obi-Wan, can you assure me - with absolute certainty - that if Skywalker is injured, you will not act … unwisely?”
“More important is,” Master Yoda adds, his ears lifting ever slightly, “if hurt, you are, Skywalker’s behaviour, remain wise, will it, hmm?”
On the eve of a major battle, the Jedi Council orders Master Kenobi to cut the lingering training bond with his former padawan.
