While denigrating people using uncouth words of barbarians was hardly Byakuya’s way to insult another, he is not so ignorant on how to use it. He was arrogant enough in his youth anyway, and he was fairly sure he had used at least three-quarters of it slandering Shihoin Yoruichi.
So when Rukia dragged him into the living world to witness her play otherwordly games against brash, unmannered mortals (that is much, much worse than Kurosaki Ichigo), Byakuya could hardly contain himself from retorting back.
