    "Do you not admire things you find pretty?" Columbina tilts her head, water dripping from her feathers.

    "I'm not a thing — and I don't appreciate you poking me with your powers."

    "But you are pretty," Columbina insists and this time Sandrone doesn't argue back.

    Why? Why is it that the first time she sees Sandrone's face, the light has faded from her eyes? Fate couldn't be so cruel, not after everything they had been through. They had saved the world, for heaven's sake. Wasn't that enough?

    A primordial rage wells up inside Columbina. No. Death shall not have Sandrone, not while she is the Trilune Goddess. The world would bend to her will, fate be damned! 

    She can hear her friends walking toward her. Lauma is saying something. The Traveler too, but Columbina doesn't listen. With a flash of kuuvahki, she teleports herself and the broken doll to Silvermoon Hall.

    "I can fix this, Sandrone," Columbina whispers, "I can put you back together."

    A goddess mourns her beloved doll.
