Summary
When winter reached the manor it was a sight to behold. The snow fell thick and covered everything outside from cars and porches to forgotten garden furniture. The cold air felt sharp to breathe in and when you exhaled you could always watch the wind carry it away.
The house was prone to becoming cold as well, even with the doors and widows locked.
During those days you spent most of your time by the fireplace, stoking the flames when they burned low and settling in with a book and hot tea. The kitchen was just warm enough for you to cook, but you still ate by the fire.

I wrote a very self indulgent Brahms Heelshire fic. I have not watched the movie in ages so most of this probably won't follow cannon but that's the point anyways because Greta never fucks Brahms. (Also the FMC's name isn't Greta in here).
Aurora Brooks never thought she'd find herself being the Nanny for a porcelain doll but she's had weirder jobs before. Besides, this one comes with a fuck ton of money, and a cool, albeit creepy, home for her to live in temporarily. What more could a girl ask for in this economy when everything and everywhere is too fucking expensive?
Brahms has hated every single Nanny that's ever showed up at the house. No matter how many people his parents hire, nobody has ever treated the porcelain doll version of him with any respect. If they can't respect a fucking doll, how would they feel about Brahms himself? He's a good boy, except when he moves the doll around, and he just needs time to prove that he is. His parents latest hire isn't what he expects at all. She's kind, smart, young. Brahms wants to meet her but how can he do that without scaring her?
