Summary
Takes place a week after the series finale 'Forever Royal'. The Order of the Wand (from 'Day of the Sorcerers') is back together with many new members, led again by Grimtrix. And they're out to conquer the EverRealm... but to properly do so, they need a legendary wand of unspeakable power, and they're determined to find it.
In the meantime, Cedric is the happiest he's ever been, and has everything he ever wanted and more. But things take a dark turn when he and Sofia are abducted by the Order, forced to get involved in their evil quest.

Truly, I don't know how to summarize this without simply telling the story. You'll just have to read it and see what you think. It is a sad story so I'll apologize right here and now, though I personally feel it has a lot of joy interwoven with the sadness. As with all my stories, it was originally posted on the old Yahoo Julia and Barnabas mailing list. It had chapters at that time but I've lost the version with the chapter breakdown so I'm posting it here in it's entirety.
