Rhaenyra smiled, soft and sure, her hand reaching out to cover Alicent’s. "I am the Crown," she said simply, her voice steady. "And the Crown loves you."

ADDED: Daemon thinking that after he divorces Rhea Royce he is finally free from her, years later his son falls for her and weds her. Daemon: 😑

Basically an alternate au of dance of the dragons where nobody wins.

Because in District 12, being somebody only meant they’d remember your name when they carved it into the stone and if you were lucky enough to have a body to bring back, bury what remained into the cold dirt, where you shall forever lay.

The irony was that true freedom in District 12 could be found only in death.

Lottie's eyes narrowed even as her smile stretched wider across her cheeks. "I bet they have the most beautiful sex," she decided to whisper, her breath hot against the side of Jackie's neck. Eyes trained on the hand gripping the side of Shauna's waist. Jackie could feel Lottie's gaze and ignored the red flush it left behind.
She turned to look at the other girl. "Shut the fuck up."
Lottie shrugged and chewed on the side of her straw. "You should do something about Shauna."
"I don't want to do anything with her," Jackie replied hollowly.
Lottie's hand was on her collar again. Jackie felt her thumb slide along her collarbone and felt sweat collect under her armpits. "It's interesting, seeing you like this. Looking this empty."
Almost out of habit, her eyes lowered to settle on Lottie Matthew's lips. They were pale and chewed and purple, her lip liner having left a smudged ring around her mouth. Jackie's stomach churned.
"Feels like someone should fill you up."
