“Good news! They have an opening for tonight! Someone cancelled last minute!” Alex came back in chattering excitedly before draping himself over the back of the couch and Morgan’s shoulders, letting his chin rest on Morgan right shoulder.

Summary
When the Ministry informs Harry that they are coming to destroy his wand for defending himself from the dementors that attack him in Little Whinging, Harry knows there's only one path left available to him. He can survive on his own. He knows how. It won't even be that hard. And being on the run in his animagus form makes him a feel a little closer to Sirius, anyway.
At least, he thinks so, until he's picked up by a pet store, sold to a classmate, and brought right back to Hogwarts where the state of things is so bad that he's actually glad he's expelled.
