Kakyoin had spent the entire morning making sure his outfit looked nice, his clothes fit alright, and his scarlet hair and fringe looked perfect—all just to see Jotaro.

“Try steaming out the hotel bathroom.” Noriaki suggested, his common warm smile evident through the phone. Ever knowledgeable. Always sly, so effortlessly slippery under Jotaro’s paw. Meanwhile his want was punctuated like a beating heart over the phone.
Kakyoin flipped over the page, trying to fumble away from the words that were sketched achingly into his skin. Desire. It crackled on the phone, and Jotaro mumbled, “So, your book?”
