Matt wishes that the Avenger's assumptions about his seeming inability to read the written word did something as benign as making an ass of him and them. Being called illiterate shouldn't hurt, not when he knows he's not, and it's not like he can tell them the truth.

Summary

It would be a common occurrence, until it dragged on for months on end. Leaving Matt to assume that he's dead.
Marc Spector has been missing for the past two years. Leaving behind a small happy life that he had built during The Blip--including the people closest to him. Steven Grant, all the while, had to pick up the pieces of his life after The Blip. While coping with the time that's passed, he returned "home" to London, where he found a job at The National Art Museum.
