“You’re making me choose my own Dom.” Ghost states as a car passes by them, a loud swoosh picking up leaves on the sidewalk.
Price’s head stays pointedly forward.
“No, you’re choosing your next subordinate.” Price counters.
“Who is going to be my Dom.”
“Yes.”
“Fucking bastard.” Ghost mutters under his breath. Not that Price doesn’t catch it and all the venom it contains.
Ghost keeps walking.
There’s no point in fighting Price on this.-----------------------------

Summary
Soap notices that Ghost always smells of lavender, and seems to have an aversion to certain deodorant smells, and he sets out to figure out why. Along the way he changes his own deodorant and finds out that that gesture means a whole lot more to Simon than he could ever have thought it would. He learns more about his Lieutenant in the next few months than he has in the last nearly five years of working with him, finding out why such a small gesture meant so much to him and getting to know every part of Simon, the good, the scared, and the ugly.
