Summary
Dick has made some questionable judgments in the past– like dating an alpha old enough to be his father– but with Bruce missing he's being forced to straighten up if he wants to keep his family together. Unfortunately, the courts don't look favorably on single young omegas so Dick takes drastic measures and pulls on his 'questionable judgement', for help.
Slade is certainly willing to help, after all he's an opportunistic creature at heart, and has no intention of his omega escaping this time.

Summary
Slade landed on the merchant ship and several bruised and bandaged faces drained. Slade carefully didn’t react. Captain Wilson of the Deathstroke was deadly and untouchable. He killed faster than a person blinked and ruthlessly protected what was his. He was vicious and unruffled. He was impossible to—
He scowled at the grinning Dick Grayson, armed and in front of the haphazard weapon pile. A refresher lecture was needed on how to treat Bats, the bounty hunter guild that’d drive him to an early grave with Grayson at the helm.

He was a pirate captain and he was a bounty hunter. Can I make it any more obvious?

Summary
Dick instinctively wraps his arms around himself, feeling goose bumps prick at his skin, to which he receives a questioning look.
"Bit of a chilly reception," Dick says, a bad pun the only way he can think to broach the subject.
Slade rolls his eye. "I thought Batman would've taught you to endure the cold."
Dick decides to ignore that comment and instead asks, "Are you… Not cold?" Maybe it's a stupid question, because obviously Slade isn't, but he feels like he has to ask.
“I'm fine. The enhancements raised my body temperature; it keeps me warm.”

Or, Dick visits Slade's house for the first time. He finds that domestic life with a boyfriend who has meta quirks looks a little different than he would've thought.
