He turned to catch that gaze, heart eyes blazing into Louis’ soul at full blast. Louis’ face couldn’t help but pull into a soft grin, “What?”
Lestat beamed at him, no teeth on display but with those full, adorable cheeks. Louis melted a little at the sight. “Nothing.”
“No, what?” Louis prodded, rolling his eyes as his lips stretched wider.
His maker took a drag as he considered his wording for a moment, a rare occurrence for sure, and tilted his beautiful blond head. “You are all smiles tonight, mon cher. It is a wonder to behold.”
Louis’ cheeks hurt, actually. “‘M real happy.”
“I’m glad.” His voice so terribly gentle, every syllable wrapped in such naked affection each felt like a bullet to the chest. Louis knew from experience.

Summary
My version of Louis and Lestat post-season one/two, Mainly post QOTD, very loosely follows the books more as landmarks, so expect characters to be introduced when I think they might make more sense so no one gets one shot killed by a previously barely important character *cough cough- Rhosh* this will mainly be them as a mostly functional couple and how I view the vampires as a group dynamic as well as how I think the show might change things.
