I mean, his final exam is over, and he barely passed! And for the past few months, he's been watching one of his closest friend wither away from a case of Hanahaki, only for it to be resolved after an incident at one of class 1-A's trips to the USJ.
All things considered, he should be positively ecstatic, and for a few, glorious hours, he really is,
Yet that all comes crashing down, when, on the bus back to the dorms,
He coughs up a single, purple petal.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya is quirkless, and therefore, not human.
The world exists in a hierarchy, where those possessing the most powerful quirks sit at the top, living off the sweat and poverty of those with weaker quirks. One's quirk determines their entire worth and role in society, and their value as a person.
Destro fought for the world he wanted, and he won. The hierarchy was the outcome.
But Midoriya is sick of being treated like dirt, and even more frustrated over his inability to change anything. So what happens when he's offered an excessively powerful quirk, or a place in an organization fighting the broken system?
