He had been trying to move him. Quietly. Without alerting someone however. He wasn’t exactly being cooperative.
So Conner stepped back one more time.
And Tugged.
Damian tipped.
But Conner misjudged Damian’s grip on the railing.
And Damian—thrown off by the strange tug, by the unexpected closeness, by Conner’s fingers brushing the back of his neck in a way that made his heart rate skip—shifted too late.
His center of balance tilted.
His boots slipped.
His body pitched forward.
For the first time in years, Damian Wayne made a raw, startled sound.
“—Conner!”
