Summary
Peter Parker dies for the second time almost four years after the world forgot him. But he wakes up and finds himself stranded in another universe, in a city called Gotham.
With no way home and no one to miss him, he decides that this can be a fresh start. He finds a real job, makes friends, and even begins to think that maybe-just maybe- this universe could become home.
Then his body starts changing.
Lenore Young has spent years keeping people at a distance, hiding things that would change everything if disovered by the wrong person. But when a new coworker named Peter enters her life, keeping him at arms length is harder than expected.
As Peter struggles to deal with whats happening to him and Lenore running out of time to solve a problem of her own, the two form an unlikely friendship. And when Lenores friendship with Gothams newest masked vigilante begins to crumble walls she's spent years building, Lenore has to decide how much of the truth she's willing to reveal.

Summary
The Mutants are scattered. On the night of the annual Hellfire Gala, Krakoa is destroyed, and Professor Xavier goes missing. With Krakoa gone, there is no more sovereign Mutant nation, and there is no more resurrection. Worse, a new president has been elected in America on the back of anti-Mutant sentiment, and has installed Bolivar Trask as the head of the newly formed Department of Mutant Relations. Once again, the Mutants are forced to try to live in a world that hates and fears them. As their final act, the Quiet Council of Krakoa declares that any remaining Mutants must go to ground until a plan can be formulated for their people. Hide. Survive.
The X-Men determine that they will be high profile targets for Trask and DMR, and therefore must not only hide, but must go places that no one would ever think to look for them.
Which is how Emma Frost, the White Queen, wearing all of her Hellfire finery, finds herself knocking at the door of Peter Parker's shabby little apartment.

Reaching out to shake Mr. Beck's hand, Peter's spider senses suddenly go haywire.
Wincing, Peter numbly shakes his head and tunes out the conversation. Why were his senses going off? There were no threats here! He literally walked into SHIELD's base and shook Beck's han- Beck. They went off when he touched Beck.

Summary
Three years after moving back to New York, Rory Weston has discovered a few things. It’s best to have a small circle of people; her job is actually pretty cool, her neighbor is attractive, and Spider-Man continues to be New York’s friendliest superhero.
Her life was pretty standard until the night she got locked out of her apartment. That’s when she meets her somewhat awkward neighbor, Peter. At first, they only treat each other as they are–friendly acquaintances–but once they notice how much they cross paths, they start to form an unlikely friendship. Yet Peter carries a secret that could change everything.
Meanwhile, Rory has always had a certain curiosity about the man behind the spider-mask, holding a special type of admiration for the guy, especially after a series of unexpected encounters begin to grow her interest further.
Maybe fate was finally willing to validate her curiosity.
