Summary
Injuries were an occupational hazard of being a superhero. It was kind of like being an athlete. The damage just... built up.
Now, being half ghost meant that Danny had some advantages that someone strictly human wouldn't. His body was made of ectoplasm, and could go from solid to liquid in a moment. His range of motion depended more on his state of mind than ephemera like muscle and bone. The wounds he did get healed better, faster, more completely.
But there were exceptions.

Summary
Gon swallows his laugh and tilts his head. “It looks great, just like the six you tried before. You look amazing in everything Killua, I think you should just get them all if you’re having trouble deciding.”
Killua sighs. “You’re so much worse at this than Alluka. I know you’re just saying it, but then again you did wear only forest green for most of your life.”
Gon grins. “I love you too, and I’ll wait for you at the shop next door!”
Killua sticks his tongue out and twirls back into the changeroom.

Upon waking Killua is immediately aware of the strange sensation wrapping his sensitive body in a sort of cocoon of warmth. It feels as if tiny, little bugs are crawling along the very tip of his pale skin, breaking his flesh out in a furry of goosebumps. He's cold, but so hot at the same time.
The albino isn't any fool, he's familiar with this feeling, quite a little too acquainted from a very young age.
Sickness.
(Or Gon and Killua’s relationship take a head dive toward complicated when a certain someone comes down with bad bug.)

“We can be mushy later, you owe me.” Through all of this he does owe Killua some pets, so despite his slight protest Gon begins to card his fingers through those soft locks of white.
