Jisung nods, because his mother raised him to be polite even when being judged by pretty assholes. "Nice to meet you."

After getting caught spray-painting public property, Han Jisung is sentenced to community service at a local animal shelter.
The dogs love him. The staff likes him. The handsome shelter manager absolutely does not.
Or so Jisung thinks.

Summary
"Merpeople aren't real," Jisung blurts out, his statement contradicted before it's even out of his mouth as he stares at the shimmering blue tail attached to the man in his pool.
"Oh, sorry. Let me go inform my entire society that we don't exist," the man - the merman - snarks, hissing as he tugs on the net stuck under his scales.
Jisung has a lot of questions, some of them scientific and most of them stupid, but the stupidest one of all is somehow the one his brain lets slip past his lips. "How do you piss?"
(OR: Minho comes to shore determined to prove that love isn't real. Jisung thinks he can prove him wrong in order to get his wish of getting out of his hometown. Things do not go as planned for either of them.)

Summary

“This is a joke. This isn’t real, tell me this isn’t real.” Minho’s face is back to unreadable, but there’s an icy edge to his tone warning Seungmin that if this is a joke, it's not funny and Minho is an inch away from coming for his throat.
Seungmin just full-out smirks at the clench in Minho’s jaw.
Minho eyes the words— 23-YEAR-OLD MALE OMEGA LOOKING FOR AN ALPHA TO SPEND FIRST HEAT WITH— his grip on the phone tightens.
He goes over them, once, twice, three times— willing the words to dissolve in front of his eyes.
They never do.
or. Omega Han Jisung lists his first heat on an online auction in a last-ditch attempt to gain the money he so desperately needs. Alpha Lee Minho, best friend and possible love of his life is not happy about it.
