The beacon in the town had been consecrated without issue, eleven of the thirteen wanderers feeling relief from their weariness as the warm glow washed over them. Despite the monster hoards, and Cyyrus's insistence on the existence of vampires, the people who wandered into this dump seemed to find some peace.
