Summary
Following the Betrayal by Cait Sith at the Gold saucer. Tifa and Aerith find themselves captured and imprisoned by Shinra after a devastating ambush in the Corel Desert, the team are scattered following a catastrophic buggy crash during a desperate escape from Shinra forces.
Tifa, haunted by her failure to protect her friends and Cloud’s troubling collapse, clings to her resolve to keep Aerith safe as they awaken battered on a riverbank. Their fleeting hope of reuniting with their companions is quashed when the Turks, led by a gloating Elena, apprehend them.
Transported to Junon Correctional Facility, Tifa and Aerith face a grim future: Tifa fears a life sentence or execution for her role as an Avalanche eco-terrorist, while Aerith dreads Hojo’s experiments as the last Cetra, her heritage now a curse under Shinra’s control with the stolen Keystone. Now in prison attire at Junon prison, they discover Cissnei, a former ally from Gongaga, for aiding Avalanche.

Summary
**Upped Rating to Prepare for the Future** Cloud and Tifa always seem to find their way back to each other, no matter what. The curious adventures of Cloud Strife and friends. This will focus mostly on Cloti's adventure through time from the time they leave Midgar until past DoC. Of course, all characters get a say. Some Aerti moments, because I adore those two. May break it up in to a series, depends on how crazy I get. I'll keep it mostly canon compliant, with diversions based on what may happen in Remake. I wanted to cover Cloti within the game timeframe to build up for the Post-Game/AC/DoC/and beyond. Since this is focusing on the relationship between Cloud and Tifa, it won't have tons of detail for every area, only major plot points.
