Summary
At first glance, Neil Josten appears to be a quiet, unremarkable high school senior with distant, neglectful parents. But behind the carefully crafted facade lies a far more dangerous truth: Neil is actually Nathaniel Wesninski, the fugitive son of a notorious crime lord. After his mother’s death and his true identity was exposed, Neil made a deal with the FBI—betray his father’s empire in exchange for protection and a second chance.
Now living under a new name and raised by FBI agent Amelia Young and her wife Linda, Neil balances life as a covert operative with the illusion of a normal teenager. But everything changes when Coach David Wymack recruits him to play Exy for the Palmetto State Foxes, a college team infamous for its chaos and broken players.
Though reluctant at first, Neil joins, drawn to the game and the fleeting promise of normalcy. But fitting in is harder than it looks. His new teammates are suspicious, cold, and completely unaware of the secrets he’s hiding—his real name, his past, and the trauma etched into his body and mind.
With danger looming on all sides, Neil must decide how much of himself he’s willing to reveal and how far he’s willing to go to finish what he started. -

Summary
The merman's hands are bound in thick ropes, even from this distance he can see that the powerful, glimmering tail is tightly constricted in a space too small and cruel for something so unearthly, his muscular torso that is peppered with shimmering scales and tail are bound in barbed wires, making the deities every movement and breath push barbs deeper into his skin, threatening to peel of scales, it’s a stark contrast to the freedom of the sea he belongs to, and it’s an admonition of the cruelties of humans, no other species could be so inhuman to cause this damage.

Summary
Andrew's life is quiet. It's boring.
He struggles with what little he has, and even though he feels empty inside, he perseveres.
He endures Kevin's yelling at rehearsals and his twin's scathing stares while day after day he fills the bottom drawer of his nightstand with songs he can't even reread.
He drinks coffee with more sugar than recommended and enough marshmallows to drown out any thoughts.
As I said, boring.
And that's how it should go on, but he had to come back, making her chest race, her mouth go dry, and her thoughts consumed by the blue of his eyes.
No matter how much she denied it, she couldn't stop what she felt when she saw him.Or, Andrew and Neil meet while one is living in foster care and the other is running from his past. One day they had to separate without warning, and almost a decade later, they find each other again.
