Lan Wangji stopped appearing at the office around the same time Wei Ying vomited up everything that passed his lips. He told his uncle and brother that he would be available for remote meetings. He told them he doesn’t want to be disturbed otherwise, and they have managed to respect his wishes.
He opens the door, and there stands the person that Lan Zhan thinks that he despises the most in the world.
“Jiang Wanyin,” He greets, teeth clenched in the doorway of his house.
Jiang Wanyin doesn’t look at him, doesn’t say hello or exchange pleasantries. His eyes wander past Lan Wangji and up the stairs, looking for something he clearly isn’t finding. “Where’s my brother?”
