Summary
This is a collection of short (2000 characters or less) snippets written daily over the month of November based on a challenge in the Tales by the Fire Discord. Posting on Ao3 so I don't forget they exist.
For each day, I will note the challenge word(s) I included in the snippet (We were given a choice of three) - and if the snippet is from or related to something bigger.
I've labelled this 'chose not to use archive warnings' simply because two of the thirty snippets (Chapters 4 and 15) do involve major character death. None of the other snippets would require a major content warning.

I know what Kip would want to do if he were standing at my side—my Kip, who at the end had wanted nothing more than to see one last sunrise.
I step onto the path and into the field of fireflies.

This is a follow up to rattyjol's devastating The Sun Sets Low. While I highly recommend reading that first, this fic can be read as a standalone.

Summary
My longer work, Touch is all from Cliopher Mdang’s POV, but sometimes it is nice to see things from a different perspective. This is where I will post any alternative points of view on scenes from the main story.

Summary
“Where am I?” he asked. “Who are you? How did I come here?”
“My name is Christine Chapel,” she said, “I’m a nurse aboard the Starship Enterprise.” She gestured around to the room and, he inferred, the wider structure of wherever this was. “As for how you got here, we were hoping you could tell us! From our perspective, it looked like you fell out of thin air.”
Not again, he thought but did not say.
