“Your thoughts are so loud,” Hajime mumbled beside him, his voice lazy with exhaustion that Oikawa couldn’t relate to.
“Sorry, must be the fact that I’m sleeping shirtless next to a stranger in a strange house in the middle of nowhere,” Oikawa bit back instinctually.
Hajime just snorted at him, as if he was making a joke. “‘S’not that bad. Who knows? Maybe a bit of the country life could do you some good.”
“Yeah? According to who?”
“Well you did run away from home,” Hajime pointed out, and, well, yeah, Oikawa couldn’t really argue with that point. “B’sides, doesn’t seem like life has treated you too kindly so far. Change of scenery might not be the worst thing in the world.”

Summary
Iwaizumi Hajime has finally passed all his field tests to become a certified field agent. His scores are impressive and his instincts are honed. Even the first mission seems straightforward. If only he didn't have to deal with having an arrogant mentor and partner in one Oikawa Tooru. The more experienced man has just returned from Argentina, wrapped in rumors and secrets. None of which Iwaizumi has time for. Iwaizumi has bigger things to worry about like illegal art auctions and a possible Mole in the organization.
