Words are cheap. Promises are broken as easily as they are made. Even Itecho, the ever steadfast and reliable, has fallen victim to the statements he couldn't keep. Life has proven, time and time again, that actions are louder than words.
Which is extremely ironic—for right now, those are the one thing Rosei took for granted. He spoke too little, words too few. All the past conversations with Hinagiku were barely enough to sate his loneliness in the decade of her absence. So, he poured all the cheap words he knows on sheets of delicate parchment, hoping to create something worthy of setting her gaze upon.

In time—either once he looks in the mirror, or once he grows suspicious of your giggling—he'll wash it off. Get rid of the musical notes under his eyes, and the half flower partially covering his left cheek. Then, the cartoon-ish figures, very obviously meant to represent you, Ayn, and Beanie, frolicking around in a field of three flowers. The heart on his chin would long since have been scrubbed into a mess of red cleansing foam, and you'll remember to take a picture of him then too—looking as ridiculous as he is beautiful, unable to halt his lips from twitching into a smile.
You draw on Ayn's face while he's sleeping.

The hall falls into silence, tension dense in the air. Slowly, painstakingly, the emcee raises the microphone to his mouth, face unreadable for seconds.
