Summary
It's a quaint bar. Only at night does the dim lights glow against the alleyway walls. Unknown, and so very lonely. Perhaps that's what draws Ratio to it in the first place.

Summary
Goka watched as Zanka swung the the vital instrument that Goka hated with his entire being against this entity that would’ve easily snapped the stick into two worthless pieces. Goka felt something in his chest plummet as the vital instrument was abruptly stopped by two colossal bony fingers, squeezed in between the digits immediately rendering Zanka’s attack useless.
Pushing the weapon away, the fingers withdrew and rearranged themselves with the other four gigantic fingers to form a stance like one does when flicking off a piece of dirt on their clothes. Right then and there, Goka should’ve known that he was too slow, that whatever he could’ve done in the last thirty seconds wouldn’t have been enough.

Summary
Zanka plants his feet and bends slightly, taking what he knows is a futile battle stance, his hold on Lovely Assistaff so tight that he can feel the wood grain leaving imprints on the palms of his hands.
He sucks in a breath. Holds it. Exhales.
Zanka may be an average joe, but he won't be—won't die—a coward.

Summary
This was the first observation: the damned man, laying down on the floor before Rudo, hadn’t stopped smiling.
Even as Rudo stood before him, a promise of hurt should he try anything even though the boy was confused, Mymo still had a performer’s smile on his face. He still held the remains of his microphone, even as the blood pooled beneath him.
It could be an attempt at control, to have the last image before he was dragged away contribute to his image as a would be king. But smiling after a battle, after being injured badly and getting no relief, was not a sign of someone willing to give up. Nor is it a sign of someone who is mentally well.
Zanka would know.
