Shane met Ilya's eyes, trying and failing to hold his resolve as Ilya brought a hand up to run over his newly fuzzy head. Shane's fingers clenched into a fist on his thigh, fighting off the desire to put his hands on Ilya's hair. Shane was surprised by how much he'd loved the haircut the first time Ilya did it. Although, it did take a moment for him to warm up to it and he'd still missed his husband's usual look sometimes.
The curls—Shane's curls—the ones he spent years yanking at and running his fingers through and dreaming about in between hook ups, they were sexy in their own right. And beautiful. They softened his husband's face in a sweet, cherubic way that always made Shane melt a little inside.
But the buzzcut? The buzzcut was diabolical. It made Ilya look dangerous and sexy in a 'pin you down and fuck you' kind of way. Not that he didn't always have that aura about him, it was just that the buzzed hair accentuated it in a way that made Shane feel like a fucking cat in heat.
