Summary
The visions were nothing new to Byleth. She'd had them, off and on, since she was young. At best they seemed meaningless and at worst they were a source of confusion, but at least they were few and far between.
Yet in the spring of Imperial Year 1180, something changes. When familiar faces come to the monastery, Byleth is forced into the Officer's Academy by Lady Rhea, and the visions get more frequent -- and more disturbing.
Fire. Blood. War. Shards of scenes she can't quite put together into a whole, made all the more unsettling because she is starting to recognize the people and places in them. And glimpses of a strange young girl who only seems to be getting more and more frustrated with Byleth as time goes on.
A year in the Academy would've been hard enough if she were just dealing with Rhea's cryptic guidance, a professor with a bewildering amount of personal interest in her and a nosy house leader. But throw in life-threatening missions, demonic beasts, and shady plots from both outside and within the church she calls home?
No matter how hard she fights against destiny, the fires of war seem to become more and more inevitable.

The Van Der Linde gang is moving through the Northern Grizzlies, escaping the law but also moving away from the dream of retirement in the West. They find a place to weather the winter, and with any luck, they'll be able to get some much needed rest. Yet luck doesn't seem to be on Arthur's side.
After Strauss is beaten and robbed, he's tasked with finding the gang's money. Simple, if not a bit of a pain in the ass. Unfortunately, it turns out he may have bitten off more than he could chew with this job. When the thief's plight strikes a chord, he can't bring himself to turn her over to the hangman's noose, something that both frustrates and bewilders him. He just hopes the new girl doesn't give the gang any more problems than they've already got.

You spend your days toiling in the Elysian meadows over poultices similar to the ones you would create on the mortal plane, largely out of the need to pass the time and maybe also to soothe immortal wounds that even the River Lethe could not heal. When Prince Zagreus starts appearing in your domain, you find both use for your poultices and a different way to spend perpetuity.
tl;dr: The author carried away. A couple of horny 'teens' get busy in Elysium.
