Shinsou would like it to be made clear that this was not his fault. There was no blame to be placed on his shoulders. In fact, he was willing to bet money that he did everything he could to not end up in this situation. He had woken up in the morning, earlier than he would like, just like every other day. He drank exactly two cups of coffee. He even remembered to water the single plant he owned. It was looking to be an average day, which was fine with him. Better than fine, really. Average wasn’t horrible. Then his phone rang.
__Pining over your crush while being crushed by them is an extreme sport, and Shinsou is reigning champion.

After losing one too many spars, Mu Qing finds out that—due to new worshippers of Ju Yang in Ghost City—Feng Xin's divine power had become ever-so-slightly stronger than Mu Qing's. Mu Qing's solution? Build a following in Ghost City, too: bigger and better than Feng Xin's. The issue? Ghosts don't care for martial arts or war at all! Mu Qing would have to find something else to be worshipped for.
Thus begins Mu Qing's life as Xuan Zhen: the God of Beauty.
