    Most of the time, it's not bad, this new sort of life. Regulus still has nightmares, but Evan has... kind of figured out how to deal with them—in soft, accepting silence, feigning sleep because he knows Regulus feels terrible about waking him up, but always being there, just in case.

    This time is different.
