Summary
Usually, whenever Soap came back from a mission that Ghost wasn't on, he would immediately come to him to beg for a kiss or two before being told to go shower. This time however, Ghost didn't hear a word from him even an hour after the rest of his team arrived. When he went to check up on him, he expected to see a lot but not to see him pointing a gun at himself.

Listen, this is not a super original set of ideas. I just thought that the trope where Soap is told to shut up paired with him getting buried alive like Ghost was needed to exist together. So enjoy the angst and the inevitable comfort. >:3

Everyone in Soap's life has told him he's just too much. Not in the 141 though. But that can't last forever. He's bound to mess it up soon. It seems to happen on a particular mission, when Johnny gets trapped in a grave with a corpse. When the team realizes where they've made him wait for so long, they feel nothing but regret. Particularly Ghost, who is all too familiar with spending time underground...

Captain Price sends him a location for a place that should be safe. Soap didn't expect to see Ghost in the doorway when he gets there, bare-footed, in comfortable clothes and his worn-out balaclava.
