Summary
Peter clutched his rose bouquet close to his chest before immediately loosening his grip so he didn't crush it. Fresh roses were crazy expensive, even more so when he got the florist to add in baby's breath and fern fronds and whatever else Peter saw in the display that he thought would look nice and impressive.
Wade--Peter's patrol partner, his best friend, and an all-around sweet guy--deserved the best, even if the best put a significant dent into Peter's meager savings.
