Summary
Amongst a legion of robots, a single one sheds through the competition and through the layers of Hell itself, never truly satisfied. V1 does not think too hard about where they go, just as long as it's full of carnage to create and blood to drink. While they may be nowhere near where they need to be, they were never built to care.

Deep within the bowels and sorrows of the Underworld, there is a young man who was just having fun brawling throughout each of its layers. Last time he checked, however, these odd metal rooms and warped perversions of what he calls home wasn't always a part of it. He needs to find a way back to his friends and family, and he has a feeling that he needs to do it soon.

I participated in a little game called “Prompt Shot” with a bunch of people in an Inscryption fan server recently, and it was a lot of fun! Here are a couple of stories that I made for it:

No Purple knew Red. As much as they HATED it, they knew Red like the back of their hand, and no amount of manicure or cleaned up appearance would make them unable to spot Red from within an ocean of other red beans.
No amount of makeup could ever hide the matching scar on the side of their face.

After 8 years since the reactor incident Purple gets a job offer by Red only once they arrive they realize something is horribly wrong with them, and not in the bootlicker way they expected

Summary
Red and Purple are returning to Industria with a hull full of corpses, a haul full of nothing, and a certainty that their contract terminates here for a mission gone horrifically wrong. Purple has one more sleepless night to pass before they get to relive the worst day of their life. Maybe tasting MIRA’s boot won’t be so bad this time around with Red on their side…
For Purple, that day never comes. Instead Purple wakes up at a pizza party where no one is dead.

Summary
Kris swears they have it the worst. Like, they're being puppeted around by some eldritch being, forcing them to do things they never wanted. Not to mention it keeps interfering with the plan. So what if it's always been nice, and treats their friends with love, and lets Kris do stuff they want, it's still controlling them! It must be so easy, not being the Cage.
What if they weren't the Cage anymore? That would solve everything, right?
But someone has to be the Cage.
